To support researchers, Victoria University Library has created a new guide to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Confidentialised Unit Record Files (CURFs) and other microdata.

The LibGuide CURFs and Other Sources of Data & Statistics’  includes:

  • a definition of Confidentialised Unit Record Files (CURFs)
  • the application process for CURFs
  • a link to the Microdata webpages of the Australian Bureau of Statistics
  • access to Census data
  • other sources of research data and statistics

The existing LibGuide Statistical and Mathematical Software, which draws together information sources on statistical analysis software such as SPSS & NVivo, has also been updated to include the information as listed above.
